It is my great honor to welcome you to the Model Commonwealth Summit 2025, taking place in the vibrant heart of Ghana, Accra from September 4th to 6th 2025. This summit is designed to engage young leaders from across the Commonwealth in collaborative dialogue and innovative problem-solving on the pressing issues that affect our youth and shape their future aspirations.
MODEL COMMONWEALTH SUMMIT 2025
The summit emerged from a growing recognition of the need to increase the visibility of youth work, highlight youth talent, and build greater interest in youth engagement with the Commonwealth.
The Model Commonwealth Summit aims to sensitize and engage young people and citizens of the Commonwealth on the necessity of developing solidarity and common fronts through the promotion of Commonwealth values and aspirations, as well as fostering cooperation among member states.
SUMMIT OVERVIEW
The Model Commonwealth Summit 2025 is an innovative platform designed to engage young leaders from across the Commonwealth in meaningful dialogue and collaborative problem-solving. Scheduled to take place from September 4th to 6th, 2025, at the AICC in Ghana, this summit will empower youth voices while addressing pressing global issues and the unique challenges faced by Commonwealth nations.
SUMMIT FEATURES
CHOGM Simulation
The summit typically utilizes a “model” format, mirroring the structure and processes of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
Committee Sessions
The summit offers the platform for in-depth discussions on specific themes. Participants collaborate to develop resolutions and recommendations, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address pressing issues.
Mentorship & Diplomacy Dialogue
The summit often incorporates mentorship sessions with experienced professionals, allowing young leaders to gain valuable insights and guidance
Networking & Awards
Networking events at the summit allow participants to connect and collaborate with diverse young leaders. The summit also honors outstanding delegates with awards for their leadership and contributions to positive change.
